Companies are bidding up/purchasing properties/lands there at ND and Montana like cray, very much like Alberta of Canada couple of years ago.
2-3 billions barrels crude oil "technically" recoverable per USSG report this April. Still a lot of debate on how much of it wil be "economically" recoverable.
KOG/NOG/EOG/MDO/CLR/BSIC all popped up a lot this year mainly because of this.
