Hammerli design and barrel. I am not collecting the gun so I do not really mind the fact that it is discontinued. My plan is to use it to practice for now so if it can last 20,000 rounds without major problem, I will be happy. The only other 0.22 I really like is the S&W model 41, Cabela's is selling it for 1000, which is twice as much as trailside. Model 41 is built to last so it feels and handles very solid. Trailside still have quite some plastic parts. I almost got that 41, but considering the price, and the fact it is a bit too heavy, I chose the trailside as my first 0.22. I may still get that model 41, much later though. Once I got it I will post a few pictures.
